Job Description

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift to support our aerospace manufacturing facility. You will perform mechanical and basic electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production equipment, ovens, furnaces, machining centers, and support systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, documenting work, and supporting root-cause analysis. You will collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, uphold safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement across the plant. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repair on production and support equipment Execute preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to minimize unplanned downtime Document maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate equipment status to supervisors Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives for recurring equipment issues Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to maintain safe, efficient operations Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, and maintain a clean, organized work area Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Basic electrical repair Preventive maintenance (PM) Reading technical drawings/schematics PLC familiarity Welding and fabrication basics Hydraulic and pneumatic systems CMMS usage and documentation Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures
