Job Overview:
This is the second level of the maintenance mechanic position for those with many years of general maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Maintains, installs, repairs and troubleshoots plant and all equipment contained within. Involves work of a varied nature under limited direction with safety being paramount in daily plant operations and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED Required Completion of technical school curriculum in area of industrial maintenance Two or more years of experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably with molding machines Proficient in the use of tools; manual, power and measuring devices Ability to qualify as a certified forklift truck driver Vision corrected to motor vehicle standards
Preferred Qualifications:
Five or more years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably with molding machines Use of basic hand tools
