The Belton School District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the General Maintenance Technician. Past experience in a skilled trade, such as plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or a related field, is a plus.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in general maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to operate hand and power tools and maintenance equipment safely. Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures for buildings and equipment. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials and equipment safely. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime. Valid driver's license preferred.Working Conditions:
Work performed indoors and outdoors, including exposure to weather conditions. May require working on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated surfaces. May involve heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.Reports To:
Assistant Facilities Director Salary range: $18.89/hr - $26.36/hr+ full benefits. Based on 8 hours/day, 260 days per year. Please complete the online application and required surveys.
