Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Garage Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for providing exceptional service. As a Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors and related systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on skills to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Quality Door was founded in 1996, we are a family owned/operated Company with strong moral beliefs. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot issues with garage door mechanisms and perform necessary repairs. Fabricate components as needed to ensure proper fitting and functionality of garage doors. Conduct routine inspections to identify wear or damage in door systems. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in carpentry, maintenance person services, or fixture installation. Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings related to garage door systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing tasks. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
