Bring:
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience within an FDA-regulated environment (pharmaceutical, medical device, or food/beverage processing).
Technical Chops:
Proven capability troubleshooting heavy 480v 3-phase electrical systems alongside fluid power (hydraulics/pneumatics).
Schedule Flexibility:
A team-first, adaptable mindset. While you will train on 1st shift, final shift placement is determined by the union bidding process (which typically transitions into a 2nd shift, weekend, or alternative schedule). High SchoolResponsibilitiesArea of responsibility 1: [Production Machinery]. 1. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine shutdowns. 2. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. 3. Performs mechanic level skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, repair of Pharmaceutical packaging and production line machines.
Electrical skills include:
AC/DC theory and analysis, Power Distribution, Motor and Machine control circuits, and familiarity with PLC s.
Mechanical skills include:
Pump and gearbox repair, Millwright practices, Sheetmeal work, Pipefitting, and Welding. 4. The ability to read, interpret equipment manuals and work orders to insure correct maintenance repairs and equipment service is completed.
Expected results:
Ensure reliable and safe operation of machinery and equipment. Area of responsibility 2: [Preventive Maintenance] 1. Detailed equipment inspections based on preventative maintenance procedures. 2. Legible record keeping procedures. 3. Ability to use electrical and calibration testing equipment.
