We are currently seeking a dedicated technician for a manufacturing partner in Central Missouri, located in the Sedalia area and accessible from Columbia, Jefferson City, and Marshall. This organization has prioritized state-of-the-art equipment, advanced automation, and robust maintenance systems. This position is designed for a proactive professional who focuses on optimizing performance, implementing long-term solutions, and preventing future downtime rather than just performing reactive fixes. The Opportunity Support sophisticated CNC machining centers and automated production lines. Leverage modern predictive maintenance technologies like thermal imaging and vibration analysis. Drive operational excellence by maximizing machine uptime and overall equipment efficiency. Your Responsibilities Identify and resolve technical issues within CNC machinery to restore full functionality. Ensure reliable operation by troubleshooting complex electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical assemblies. Utilize technical schematics to guide precise repair and diagnostic processes. Improve equipment longevity by performing accurate precision alignments. Support the reliability of the facility by executing comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records and workflows by utilizing CMMS software. Minimize production delays by addressing machine-down events with high urgency. Qualifications At least five years of practical experience specifically in CNC maintenance. Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues across diverse technical systems. Proficiency in interpreting complex electrical schematics. Deep familiarity with the operation and maintenance of CNC machinery. A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential equipment failures. Ideal Background Experience with robotics or automated systems. Exposure to PLC programming or drive systems.
