Do you enjoy fixing things, solving problems, and helping create safe, welcoming spaces for children and educators? We are seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support two early childhood education centers in Dardenne Prairie and Wentzville. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful, functional environments and enjoys variety in their workday. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician will support multiple school locations by completing general repairs, preventative maintenance, facility improvements, and ensuring our environments remain safe, clean, and operational for children and staff.
Responsibilities Include:
  • General building repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
  • Furniture assembly, classroom setup, and minor improvements
  • Exterior upkeep and light grounds maintenance
  • Troubleshooting maintenance requests across locations
  • Traveling between school sites as needed (must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation)
  • Maintaining maintenance logs and communicating project updates
  • Supporting emergency maintenance needs when necessary
Qualifications:
✔ Experience in facility maintenance, handyman services, property maintenance, or related field preferred ✔ Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair practices ✔ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills ✔ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work ✔ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required ✔ Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple locations
Schedule:
