Maintenance Technician Kansas City Hickory Provisions (KCHP) $28.00 per Hour | Full-Time Kansas City Hickory Provisions (KCHP) is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running at its best, we'd love to meet you. Location Transition This position will be based at our Alma, Missour i manufacturing facility through the end of 2026. In Q1 of 2027, this position will transition to our brand-new manufacturing facility in Harrisonville, Missouri , giving you the opportunity to be part of our company's next chapter of growth. What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in keeping our production equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently by: Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Maintaining equipment including slicers, shredders, smokehouses, pallet jacks, band saws, shrink tunnels, forklifts, and more Assisting with maintenance of refrigeration systems and Southern Pride ovens Completing preventative maintenance logs and documentation Performing general building maintenance including plumbing, painting, lighting, doors, and facility repairs Coordinating with outside service technicians when needed Supporting a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment Following all food safety, GMP, Lockout/Tagout, and safety procedures What We're Looking For 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. Commitment to workplace safety and quality Work Environment You'll work in a food manufacturing facility where you can expect: Refrigerated work areas (below 40°F) Loud production equipment Standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift Required use of PPE including hairnets, gloves, safety glasses, smocks, and other protective equipment Why Join Kansas City Hickory Provisions? ✔
