Maintenance Technician Job Description Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. Responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies. Work from moderately complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. Repair and rebuild pumps, both water and vacuum, and possess knowledge of environmental test chambers, water towers, heat exchangers, and air conditioning. Responsibilities Provide technical support on complex components and equipment. Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies. Interpret wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, and engineering specifications. Repair and rebuild water and vacuum pumps. Work on environmental test chambers, water towers, heat exchangers, and air conditioning. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Hydraulics Electrical maintenance Schematic interpretation Industrial maintenance Welding Electrical troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with running conduit and rewiring motors (single and three phase) Ability to work around 480v Why Work Here?
