$30.00 an hour + $2.00 Differential Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to support the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems and production equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, troubleshooting issues, and learning new technical skills in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring equipment uptime, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with facility improvements. Flexibility is important, as occasional off-shift work may be required to support projects or preventative maintenance activities. Primary Responsibilities Perform general maintenance, installation, and repair of facility equipment and systems Respond to equipment breakdowns and support troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime Execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs efficiently and safely Support basic electrical repairs, facility upkeep, and office/warehouse improvements Assist with battery changing operations and material handling equipment (PIT) support Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers and other facility tools as needed Perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and follow all safety protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate effectively with Maintenance Leads and cross-functional teams Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and facility upgrades Provide general support across maintenance functions, including custodial or facility tasks when needed Support higher-level technicians (Tech II/III) on advanced repairs and projects Gain exposure to PLC-controlled equipment (experience is a plus, not required) What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Basic understanding of: PPE and workplace safety practices Power tools and maintenance equipment Ergonomics and safe work procedures Ability to read and interpret: Safety rules Equipment manuals Basic maintenance instructions Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Team player with a flexible, "jump-in where needed" mindset Willingness to learn is critical in this role —we're looking for someone eager to grow into more advanced maintenance responsibilities over time. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate's Degree or technical training in a related field preferred 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or related fields preferred , or equivalent apprenticeship experience Relevant experience may include: Electrical Lighting Plumbing HVAC Welding Drywall Repair Painting Battery Handling PIT Equipment Yard Driving Pneumatics Hydraulics Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 45 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts as needed Work Environment Industrial / warehouse setting Exposure to moving machinery, varying temperatures, and noise levels Must adhere to all safety standards and PPE requirements Why Join Us?
