Description Traveling Maintenance Technician (National Crew) Monarch Investment & Management Group 📍 Based in St Louis, MO (Nationwide Travel Required) Overview Monarch Investment & Management Group is hiring a Traveling Maintenance Technician to join our National Traveling Crew. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and traveling across the country . You'll support apartment communities that need extra help—working with a skilled team to complete repairs, unit turns, and property improvements. Travel Schedule 3 weeks traveling (out of state) 1 week off at home Assignments across 79,000+ units in 25 states Compensation $20 - $26/hour Consistent 50-hour work weeks (overtime available) $50/day per diem while traveling Annual raises up to 5% Benefits 401(k) with 3% company match Medical insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) starting at $45/month Vision & disability insurance 9 paid holidays

Year 1: 80 hours Years 2-4: 120 hours 5+ years: 160 hours 20% rent discount at Monarch communities (terms apply) Tuition reimbursement program Annual anniversary gifts Additional Perks Tool reimbursement (up to $500/year) Power tool battery exchange program Winter boot & work pant reimbursement Employee discounts (Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot, and more) Paid EPA certification training (in-house) Free skiing at Monarch Mountain Key Responsibilities Complete maintenance work orders based on priority Perform unit turns / make-ready preparation Interior & exterior painting and staining General maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall) Assist with renovations, capital projects, and major repairs Support on-site maintenance teams Complete special projects as needed Qualifications 1+ year of maintenance experience (apartment or related field preferred) Experience with drywall repair, painting, and carpentry Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems Some experience with HVAC and water heaters preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Commitment to quality service Candidates may be asked to demonstrate basic maintenance skills during the interview. Requirements Ability to travel for extended periods ( 3 weeks at a time ) Valid driver's license preferred Must pass background check and drug screening Why Join Monarch?
