Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Repair appliances, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical equipment with precision and attention to detail. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems. Assist with construction or modification projects related to facility upgrades or system improvements. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure safety standards and project timelines are met. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician in a commercial or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, appliance repair, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and construction projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors during maintenance activities. Knowledge of safety protocols related to equipment repair and facility maintenance is essential.
