Job Description
At Didion Orf Recycling, we do what's right for a better tomorrow—recycling metal scrap and electronics. Our team lives by four values: Personable, Tenacious, Innovative, and Selfless Service . We are looking for a fantastic Maintenance Technician, is it you? What You'll Do Inspect, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and machinery Work on trucks, trailers, cranes, conveyors, balers, shears, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and more Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment running Troubleshoot breakdowns and fix problems quickly and effectively Handle electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs Weld and fabricate when needed Work independently Follow all safety standards on the job What We're Looking For Hands-on experience with heavy equipment or industrial maintenance Strong troubleshooting skills—you can find the problem and fix it Basic electrical knowledge (motor controls, circuits; PLCs a plus) Experience with hydraulics and welding preferred Able to work fast and safely, stay organized, and adapt when priorities change What You Need Associate's degree or certification in industrial maintenance, heavy equipment repair, or related field — or equivalent experience If you're someone who works well independently, likes working with your hands, solving problems, and keeping equipment running, we want to talk to you.
