Facilities Maintenance Technician Job Description This role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of several sites within the St. Louis area. The technician will be responsible for HVAC repairs and maintenance, carpentry, painting, furniture repair and installation, replacing electrical outlets, minor plumbing, and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs across multiple locations. Perform HVAC repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Handle carpentry tasks, painting, and furniture installation. Replace electrical outlets and perform minor plumbing repairs. Ensure general upkeep of the facilities to maintain a safe and functional environment. Essential Skills Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. Experience in facilities maintenance, repair, and installation. Capability to perform preventive maintenance and general upkeep tasks. Ability to interpret electrical and HVAC schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Certification or degree from a technical school. 1-3 years of experience in apartment or facility maintenance preferred. OSHA and EPA licenses are advantageous.
