Night Shift:

6:30 p.m.-7:00 a.m.

• 12-hour shifts

• Rotating Two-Week Schedule:

• + Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday + Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Position Summary
• As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This hands-on position focuses on preventive maintenance, mechanical repairs, equipment installations, and minimizing production downtime within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Responsibilities
• + Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.

+ Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. + Repair and replace components such as bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems. + Troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. + Respond promptly to production equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests. + Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects. + Perform root-cause analysis to identify and prevent recurring equipment problems. + Read and interpret blueprints, equipment schematics, and technical manuals. + Complete work orders and required maintenance documentation accurately. + Perform welding and fabrication work as needed. + Support facility equipment and utility systems when required. + Follow all food safety, HACCP, GMP, lockout/tagout, and company safety procedures. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. + Adapt to changing production and maintenance priorities while working independently or as part of a team.

• Qualifications
• Required
• + High school diploma or GED.

+ Previous industrial maintenance or maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. + Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. + Working knowledge of mechanical power transmission systems. + Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. + Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Basic math skills and the ability to complete maintenance documentation. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production and maintenance teams. + Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts on a rotating schedule.

• Preferred
• + Previous maintenance experience in food manufacturing.

+ Technical school training, certification, or degree in industrial maintenance or a related field. + Welding and fabrication experience. + Experience maintaining conveyors and other production machinery. + Experience with facility utilities and support equipment. + Refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration experience. + Two-year technical degree in an industrial maintenance-related field. + Extensive industrial maintenance experience.
