Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician assembles, installs, and maintains mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment in an industrial bottling facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine and preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all machinery operates safely and efficiently. The technician reads and interprets diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manuals, and uses a variety of tools and testing equipment to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical problems. Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment in an industrial environment. Troubleshoot machinery issues and perform routine and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals to complete maintenance tasks accurately. Maintain a regular schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation. Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts as needed to keep production lines running efficiently. Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively to perform maintenance and repair tasks. Use testing equipment, such as a multimeter, to diagnose electrical and electronic issues. Follow manufacturers' specifications and directions when servicing equipment and systems. Perform electrical troubleshooting, including work on 3-phase power, motors, and electrical maintenance tasks. Support industrial maintenance activities involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Assist with PLC troubleshooting and work with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems as needed. Document maintenance activities using basic computer systems, including maintenance or business systems such as SAP or equivalent. Act competently in emergencies to address equipment failures and safety concerns promptly. Communicate clearly with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance work. Essential Skills Hands-on experience in maintenance technician or industrial maintenance roles, including diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance work. Strong mechanical skills with experience in repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. Electrical troubleshooting skills, including familiarity with 3-phase power, motors, and electrical maintenance. Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals. Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in an industrial setting. Ability to use and understand testing equipment, such as a multimeter. Proficiency in operating a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and PLC troubleshooting. Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business System or equivalent. Ability to follow manufacturers' specifications and directions for maintenance and repair. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to act competently in emergencies and respond quickly to equipment issues. Physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods and to lift, push, or pull up to 80 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications CIT, INT, or EAT certification is recommended. Prior experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or bottling environment. Experience with industrial systems involving hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Experience working with maintenance or enterprise systems such as SAP or similar platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized maintenance schedule. Service-oriented mindset with a focus on supporting production uptime and reliability. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a non-climate-controlled industrial bottling facility. You will work around production machinery and industrial equipment, using a variety of hand and power tools as well as testing devices such as multimeters. The position follows a rotating schedule with 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. shifts, requiring extended periods of walking, standing, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 80 lbs. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with an emphasis on safety and adherence to operational procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Warrenton, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75275.00 - $77355.00/yr. Including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, and Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts.
