Job Description

Work Location:
West Plains, MO Summary:
Maintenance Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing diverse duties to maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment across the operation. Work is performed in accordance with Company safety processes and to support the plant's goals and objectives.
Major Duties:
Perform routine inspections; grease and oil chains and gear boxes, etc. Diagnose minor mechanical issues. Perform minor repair work, changing rolls, belts, or chains. Communicate with team and operators to reduce downtime and promote a safe working environment. Follow all safety protocols, LOTO, PPE, confined spaces, and restricted areas. Maintain clean and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience/Skills:
Mechanically inclined; knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Problem solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to grasp basic concepts and follow direction. Interact with the production crews for optimal equipment operation
Job Type:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
