full-time Company Description StoneTrends LLC is a premier fabricator in the St. Louis area specializing in natural granite and quartz countertops, table tops, and fireplace and tub surrounds. The company offers an extensive inventory of quartz and granite slabs and provides hands-on assistance with design and material selection. StoneTrends operates a fully automated fabrication facility that uses cutting-edge CNC equipment to deliver precise, high-quality edges and seams. Professional in-house installers ensure accurate fit and finish on every project, reinforcing the company's reputation for craftsmanship and reliability. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Countertop Installer role based in Chesterfield, MO. The Countertop Installer is responsible for safely transporting, handling, and installing granite and quartz countertops and related surfaces at client locations. Daily tasks include verifying that cut pieces match project specifications.using appropriate tools and equipment to set, level, secure, and finish countertops, while protecting surrounding structures and maintaining a clean work area. The Countertop Installer will interact with customers on-site, address basic questions about installation, and collaborate with fabrication and design teams to resolve any fit or finish issues. Qualifications Experience with basic hand and power tools, material handling equipment, and safe lifting techniques for stone or similar heavy materials. Knowledge of countertop installation practices, including leveling, securing, seam alignment, caulking, and finishing work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fit and alignment issues on-site in coordination with the fabrication team. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Commitment to workplace safety, including following company safety procedures and using personal protective equipment as required. Reliable transportation to the Chesterfield, MO facility and job sites; punctuality and dependability are essential. Prior experience in stone, construction, or carpentry installation is preferred; willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials with proper technique and assistance.
