Industrial Maintenance Technician Location:
Columbus, MS - New Facility Opening!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Overtime & Weekends as Needed) Be part of something big! DRC Industries is expanding, and our brand-new Columbus, MS facility will play a major role in supporting our rapidly growing customer base across the Southeast. With well-established operations in Kentucky and increasing demand for our products, we're opening this new location to better serve customers and continue our commitment to quality and innovation. We are looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician who will be a key player in getting this operation up and running—and keeping it running smoothly. If you're energized by problem-solving, hands-on technical work, and contributing to the success of a new facility, this opportunity is for you. ✨ About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and modifying a wide range of plant machinery and systems. You'll work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components to keep production moving safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and tackling complex mechanical challenges. Key Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and modify industrial machinery and systems Troubleshoot issues using blueprints, manuals, and work orders Perform fabrication work and welding as needed Work with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Follow all plant safety rules, complete required safety training, and report issues promptly Organize tools and parts effectively to support workflow Maintain a clean and safe work area Complete assigned tasks independently while meeting quality and timing expectations Requirements High School Diploma (required) Three years of mechanical maintenance experience in a continuous-process or industrial environment Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting methods Proven ability to work safely with minimal supervision Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Benefits Full suite of medical, dental, and vision insurance Supplemental benefits available 401(k) with company match after 1 year of employment Opportunity to grow with a company expanding into new markets Be part of a startup-style environment backed by an established organization Join Us in Building Something New This is more than a maintenance job—it's a chance to be part of launching a major new facility and making an immediate impact.
