Job Description

Our Care Focus We are a leading provider of senior healthcare services, specializing in post-acute care. We offer services ranging from comprehensive short-term rehabilitation and transitional care to Alzheimer's and dementia care. Role Summary The Maintenance Technician helps keep our Meridian, Mississippi center safe, functional, and comfortable by completing timely repairs and preventative upkeep across resident and common areas. Key responsibilities include coordinating maintenance needs with nursing and other departments; performing routine repairs and preventative maintenance; supporting refurbishment projects; maintaining grounds; keeping building systems and equipment operating properly; assisting with safety inspections, tests, and drills; and recommending practical improvements to maintenance processes.
Required qualifications/skills:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years in building trades/maintenance preferred Working knowledge of tools and software used for facility repair and upkeep Preferred exposure to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and reliability If you take pride in well-executed work and want a steady, full-time schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm), apply today. A Typical Shift Your day starts with a quick review of open work orders and any overnight notes, then you map out priorities for the building. You move between resident areas and common spaces, documenting updates as you go and communicating status changes to the right teams. Midday often includes checking on ongoing projects, confirming parts or supplies, and updating logs for compliance tracking. Before the day ends, you walk key areas to confirm everything is in order, close out completed items, and prep the next day's plan so the facility stays ready for residents, visitors, and staff.
