Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring production efficiency and compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities Perform emergency and scheduled repairs on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders Ensure compliance with OSHA safety and health regulations Participate in training and continuing education Maintain documentation in accordance with SQF standards Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Technical training or certification (preferred) Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment Skills in welding, electrical systems, PLCs, and mechanical repair Skills Ability to read and understand instructions and manuals Basic math skills including rates, ratios, and percentages Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities

Physical Requirements Frequent:

bending, squatting, kneeling, standing, walking

Occasional:

reaching, twisting, pushing/pulling, lifting up to 75 lbs

Vision:
