About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. Your main goal will be to prevent equipment downtime and minimize repair costs. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Your work will be critical to the success of our organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in a relevant trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry) Experience with HVAC systems Experience with commercial kitchen equipment Experience with commercial laundry equipment Experience with boiler equipment
Responsibilities:
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems Performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and painting tasks Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair work Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard providing your own hand tools to perform all your necessary duties
Skills:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems. You will also use your carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, drywall, and painting skills to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Your ability to work collaboratively with other members of the maintenance team will be critical to ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. Additionally, your willingness to learn and share knowledge will help you to continuously improve your skills and contribute to the success of our organization.
