Job Type:
- Full-time
Pay:
- [$35-$40/hour, DOE] About the role Heritage Handyman is hiring a master-level handyman technician.
We're after the kind of tech we can send out solo and not think twice about — someone who diagnoses the problem, fixes it right the first time, and treats every house like it matters. This isn't an entry-level spot. If you've been doing quality work across the trades for years and take pride in both the work and the paperwork, we want to hear from you. What you'll do Handle a wide range of repairs and installs — carpentry, drywall, basic plumbing and electrical, finish work, and general fixes Run jobs start to finish on your own, from diagnosis to a clean handoff Keep your truck clean and stocked so there's no running to the hardware store mid-job Show up on time and keep the office and customer in the loop if anything changes Protect the home while you work and leave every space cleaner than you found it Document jobs properly — notes, photos, and receipts so billing is fast and accurate What we're looking for Several years of hands-on, multi-trade experience Work that holds up — low callbacks and a high first-time fix rate The judgment to know your limits and pull a permit or bring in a licensed pro when a job calls for it Reliable transportation and your own basic tools Dependable week in and week out — no surprise no-shows A clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check What we offer Competitive pay that reflects real skill Steady, year-round work A crew that respects the craft and does things the right way Benefits available

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour

401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record? (You'll be driving a company work vehicle.) You show up to a job and the conditions don't match the work order — or the customer asks you to do something extra "while you're here." What do you do? How many years have you worked as a multi-trade handyman, and what are two or three jobs you've recently completed start to finish on your own? What's your callback or rework rate, and when a job does come back, what's usually the cause and how do you keep it from happening again?
