If you're a hands-on problem solver who knows how to fix things, likes staying busy, and takes pride in keeping properties looking their best, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Respond to tenant maintenance requests & work orders Complete apartment move-out/turnover repairs Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall & painting Repair doors, locks, fixtures, appliances, faucets, toilets & more Perform preventative maintenance Maintain common areas, parking areas & grounds Mow, trim, remove litter & handle seasonal cleanup Snow & ice removal when needed Respond to maintenance emergencies Coordinate with contractors when specialized repairs are needed Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles & supplies Document completed work and communicate major issues to managementWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Valid driver's license required Maintenance, apartment, property, construction, building or facilities experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting & general repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Able to work independently and stay organized Good communication and customer-service skills Able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs or more Comfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces and outdoors Must be available for on-call, weekend & emergency situationsWHAT THE JOB IS LIKE
