Maintenance Technician IV Bozeman, MT An established manufacturing company in Bozeman is recognized for delivering high-quality products through innovation, precision, and operational excellence is seeking a Maintenance Technician IV. The Maintenance Technician IV is a senior-level position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving complex manufacturing equipment and systems. This role uses advanced mechanical, electrical, and automation skills to lead repairs, perform preventive maintenance, support equipment upgrades, and improve overall reliability and performance. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, independent, and able to provide technical guidance to other team members.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, PLC, robotics, CNC, SCADA, and HVAC systems Lead major equipment repairs, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to reduce downtime and prevent recurring failures Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs, including inspections, vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis Lead installation, commissioning, upgrades, and integration of new equipment and automation systems while supporting capital projects Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance, efficiency, safety, and maintenance processes Mentor and train maintenance technicians while ensuring compliance with OSHA, safety procedures, documentation requirements, and company standards
Qualifications:
4 to 6 years of industrial maintenance experience Expert troubleshooting skills across complex mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Proficiency with PLC and HMI programming and control system troubleshooting Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing equipment Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment High school diploma or equivalent Call or text Dre in our LC Staffing Kalispell Office at 406-298-9148 42157
