Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and electrical experience. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications to equipment. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oversee facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff as required. Assist with residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities. Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably within manufacturing or facilities management settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with ohmmeters is a plus. Ability to read and understand technical documents, schematics, and manuals in English. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous for leading a team effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
