Job Description
Women's & Children's Nurse Float Pool (RN)
Status/FTE:
FT / 1.0 FTE
Shift length: 12 hoursStart Time:
1900Unit:
Women & Children's Nurse Float Pool Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts and every 3 rd weekend Required qualifications: Current state RN license Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS upon hire One (1) years' experience in NICU, Peds, or OB inpatient units Preferred qualifications: BSN preferred Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
