  • Job description Block & Associates Realty is seeking a qualified and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis.
This position is essential to ensuring the continued quality, safety, and functionality of the residential properties under our management. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting routine property inspections, diagnosing maintenance issues, and performing a wide variety of repair and upkeep tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: plumbing repairs, fixture replacements, appliance troubleshooting and installation, painting, drywall repairs, electric troubleshooting…The ideal candidate is a reliable and detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to safety and operational guidelines is essential. Responsibilities Conduct and complete inspections of various properties to convey condition and repairs necessary Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Drywall and Painting Skills Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition, able to climb a latter, and able to lift +50lbsProven experience as maintenance technician Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
