Industrial Maintenance Technician (Electrical)

Pay:

$35-$37 per hour Night Shift (2-2-3 Schedule) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience to support a highly automated, high-speed manufacturing facility. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, emphasizing permanent, root-cause solutions. Hands-on PLC experience and the ability to safely work with high-voltage systems are required. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on automated production equipment Work with 480V systems, single- and three-phase motors, drives, and control panels Support PLC-controlled equipment (primarily Allen‑Bradley); read ladder logic and troubleshoot I/O Perform maintenance on motors, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term fixes Follow OSHA, NEC, and

NFPA 70E

safety standards Document repairs and collaborate with maintenance and production teams Requirements 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience Strong documented electrical experience PLC troubleshooting experience Comfortable working in a high-speed manufacturing environment Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule (after day-shift training) High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or technical training in a related field Electrical certifications or licenses Experience with VFDs, instrumentation, and control panels Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Asheboro, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
