Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities. Assist the production supervisor as needed. Maintain the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner. Knowledge | Experience |

Skills:

High school diploma or GED. Must possess mechanical aptitude. Ability to learn injection molding equipment, assembly processes, auxiliary equipment, decorating equipment, robots, and automation equipment. Enrolled in or completion of maintenance apprenticeship program. Must possess own tools for use on the job. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintains the facility and equipment through preventative maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot/repair equipment as assigned.
• Perform facility repairs as assigned.
• Maintain the maintenance shop in a clean and organized manner.
• Assist the production supervisor as needed.
• Install/transfer equipment.
• Complete work orders as required.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Complete all scheduled/required training.
• Required to use a handheld propane torch on the production floor.
