Job Title:
Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Maintain and repair production equipment to keep the plant running efficiently. Focus on safety, minimizing downtime, and performing regular maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety rules, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) Troubleshoot and fix equipment issues quickly Perform preventive and predictive maintenance Repair or replace electrical and mechanical parts Use tools like multimeters to diagnose problems Order parts and coordinate with vendors when needed Complete and manage work orders (including emergency repairs) Perform daily maintenance and inspections Help lead maintenance work during shutdowns Document repairs and update schematics/drawings Service pumps, boilers, piping, and other equipment Assist with small equipment installs and improvements Track and record maintenance data Train operators on basic maintenance practices Support team members and share knowledge Respond to equipment issues and production concerns Participate in emergency response and safety training Required Skills Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read blueprints and schematics Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, etc.) Strong attention to safety Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to document work clearly Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience during maintenance shutdowns Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Experience writing maintenance procedures Equipment installation/modification experience Emergency response or First Aid/CPR training (or willing to learn) Work Environment Manufacturing/production facility Work with mechanical and electrical equipment daily Shifts:

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00/yr. Retirement:
