Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the reliability of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, air conditioning units, kitchen appliances, and other equipment as needed to minimize downtime. Operate company vehicles for maintenance tasks across multiple sites while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist with larger construction or renovation efforts when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex equipment issues. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, and HVAC system repair. Mechanical knowledge applicable to maintaining diverse mechanical systems in commercial or industrial environments. Ability to operate construction tools and equipment safely; previous construction experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects.
