Job Description
Your tasks Provide necessary maintenance repair coverage for facility value preservation and operational readiness. Support manufacturing operations when needed. Provide necessary maintenance repair coverage for facility value preservation and operational readiness. Support manufacturing operations when needed. Install/repair facility utilities (electrical, compressed air, water) Conduct basic installation support for common facility equipment. Conduct recurring inspections of safety equipment. Prepare and install electrical wiring from infrastructure locations to end items. Conduct preventive maintenance on facility related items. Prepare and conduct facility cosmetic upkeep and improvements. Conduct operational support services such as waste carting, heavy cleaning. Observe and note machine actions and error messages. Read and interpret machinery schematics and flow charts to troubleshoot malfunctions.(electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic,) Conduct common electrical measurements using VOM. Interpret information and determine faults and corrective actions. Repair of machine tools including ball screws, spindle assemblies, ways and slides, chucks, limit switches, relays, drives, resolvers, and basic operations of machines. Make repairs through adjustments and or parts replacements. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment as instructed per plans. Advise supervision on abnormalities/concerns. Coordinate post repair confirmations with machine operators or service techs. Follow documented procedures, document repair activities in detail for record. Work intelligently to minimize downtime. Conserve maintenance time by assuring proper use of equipment and prior planning. Safely prepare for equipment relocations and assure leveling, alignment, reconnection, and requalification, adhere to quality standards. Recognize maintenance safety risks and assure their prevention. Your profile Education High School Diploma/GED Completion 2 Years Technical School training in electromechanical systems or electrical systems preferred Work Years Experience 4+ years experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance of manufacturing machines and facilities 7+ years experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment Strong electrical and mechanical background. AC/DC systems up to 480v/3 phase. Safe and proper use of power tools Troubleshooting, inspection Strong background knowledge of pneumatic systems. Ability to stay calm under stressful situations Knowledge of electrical work hazards and safe work requirements Be able to work overtime as necessary and mobilize for emergency repair calls. Be able to work limited weekend days. Must be able to walk up/down stairways to retrieve parts from storage Must be able to walk frequently around plant and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry parts 70 pounds weight.
