Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Project Technician . You'll work Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm. Our Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour and is based on your work experience and skills. The Project Technician is responsible to expedite and complete each assigned project for the designated property. The overall objective for a Project Technician is to deliver a great looking, fully functional, compliant and safe facility which can be enjoyed by residents and employees. Essential Duties Maintain a professional, courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, vendors, contractors and fellow employees. Ensure quality workmanship and completion of projects while expediting various projects as assigned, including but not limited to, general construction, remodeling, carpentry, tile work, painting, power washing and landscaping. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent or general education degree (GED). 3 - 5 years of handyman, construction or maintenance work preferred. Proficient customer service and interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with residents, clients, fellow employees, and other business contacts. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment and measuring devices. Physical Demands/Work Environment Work is performed inside and outside in all types of weather and temperatures with occasional indoor work and involves moderate exposure to hazards or physical risks with moderate exposure to unusual elements such as temperature, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent need to be on feet, climb stairs and to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and ability to climb ladders and navigate difficult terrain and elevation changes while maintaining balance.
