$25-$35/hour, depending on experience About CATLIN For more than 40 years, CATLIN Engineers & Scientists has delivered environmental, geotechnical, and drilling solutions across the Southeast. We're growing our MCAS Cherry Point, NC field team, with crews supporting projects in the area. Position Overview This role is built for a technician who has already logged time in the field and is ready to work with greater independence. You'll take on a larger share of sampling and monitoring work at MCAS Cherry Point, NC, and help set the pace for new crew members. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair groundwater monitoring equipment Perform soil and groundwater monitoring, well bailing, and related tasks independently Support drilling work for soil borings and monitoring well installation Collect soil and groundwater samples Gauge wells, bail product, and perform groundwater sampling Keep groundwater treatment systems operating smoothly Maintain and service field equipment Document work with detailed, reliable field notes Assist with data entry and report preparation Qualifications High school diploma or trade school credential 2-4+ years of related field experience Solid soil and groundwater sampling experience 40-hour
OSHA HAZWOPER
