Main Maintenance Technician for multifamily property HVAC specialist with extensive experience Run tickets, especially HVAC tickets Dedicated to excellence and customer service Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs promptly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership abilities to support our operational excellence. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety compliance. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) issues using schematics and technical manuals. Perform appliance repair and equipment repair tasks efficiently to minimize downtime across various systems. Assist in construction or renovation projects by supporting installation and repair activities with precision and safety awareness. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference. Respond swiftly to emergency repairs or system failures to restore operations with minimal disruption. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures for complex equipment. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and general maintenance tasks. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately to diagnose issues effectively. Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with contractors during projects. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication abilities. $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
