Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at Kellanova, you'll keep our high-speed manufacturing and packaging lines running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, troubleshoot equipment issues, and support changeovers and installations. You'll collaborate closely with production and engineering teams, follow strict safety and food quality standards, and use a CMMS to document work. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using diagnostic tools and schematics Execute work orders, document maintenance activities, and update CMMS records accurately Inspect and maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, and utilities to ensure safe, reliable operation Support equipment changeovers, installations, and upgrades in a fast-paced production environment Collaborate with production, safety, and engineering teams to resolve recurring equipment problems Follow all safety, quality, and food safety standards and participate in root-cause analysis Assist with inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Basic electrical troubleshooting Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Preventive maintenance (PM) programs PLC familiarity and controls diagnostics CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) Reading mechanical and electrical schematics Welding and fabrication basics Lockout/Tagout and OSHA safety compliance
