Description Maintenance Tech 3 -
Night Shift Reports To:
Supervisor, Maintenance Position Summary Generic Summary Manages repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and utilities including: Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment, tools, and instruments Installing, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing facilities infrastructure- Making/machining replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations Planning and prioritizing work orders and scheduling overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions Local Specific Summary The Maintenance Technician 3 is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment at our facility.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to entry-level technicians Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FDA regulations, GMP, ISO standards, and safety protocols Utilize and maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance management systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Able to read ladder logic and troubleshoot/repair PLC's, electrical systems, AC/DC drive systems, and mechanical systems desire Proficiency in machining, welding, and fabricating a plus Basic Computer Skills required; must be experienced and proficient in the use of email, Windows Operating Systems, and basic Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word & Excel) Education High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Associate's degree preferred with experience in electro-mechanical, high-speed manufacturing maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems Key Skills (KSAs) Consistently upholds and reflects the core ethical principles and values that bioMérieux promotes.
