Floor Tech - Gatesville, NC As a member of the Gates Health and Rehabilitation Center team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Job Summary We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Floor Techs to join our Housekeeping Department on a
PART-TIME
basis. This role is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties as assigned Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces and floors Dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly Report maintenance issues, hazards, or supply needs to supervisor Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Protect resident privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance Qualifications Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Attention to detail and strong work ethic Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching as needed Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
