Job Description

Hendersonville Racquet Club is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Facilities Operations Technician to help maintain and improve one of Western North Carolina's premier private racquet clubs. This full-time position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, appearance, and functionality of the club's buildings, grounds, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and equipment. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repairs, landscaping, preventative maintenance, facility inspections, and assisting with club improvement projects. The position also works closely with club leadership to identify maintenance needs and recommend facility improvements that enhance the member experience. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, organized, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, landscaping, irrigation, or construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
General building and grounds maintenance Clay tennis court and pickleball court maintenance Landscaping and irrigation upkeep Minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs Preventative maintenance and facility inspections Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed Report maintenance issues and recommend facility improvements Assist with tournaments, events, and facility setup Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members and guests
Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license preferred If you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining a first-class facility, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay:
$16.00 - $24.00 per hour
