Job Title:
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Position reports to:
Maintenance Supervisor Salary:
$22.00+ per hour (Based on Experience) plus $1/hr bonus premium for perfect attendance and $1 Shift Differential Night Shift (full-time): 10PM-6AM Monday - Friday Maintenance Job Description Maintenance team members participate in the routine maintenance of plant, equipment, and machinery. They also attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, and oversee time-critical repairs. Maintenance effectively manages the engineering/maintenance function at the facility to enable optimum productivity, quality, and safety. Essential duties and responsibilities : Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for having a firm knowledge of the plant's layout, systems, and equipment. Must be able to anticipate plant priorities as the situation arises. Follow company policies Maintenance plays a vital role in the efficiency, development, and progress of manufacturing/processing. Maintenance works with other professionals, such as outside contractors and production managers, to improve production facilities, reduce the incidence of costly breakdowns, and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.
Qualifications:
Job competency requirements: High School Diploma and sufficient work experience to have gained good knowledge of manufacturing equipment diagnosis and repair. Knowledge and experience in the following areas preferred: Electrical machine repair Variable frequency drives AC/DC motors Simple circuitry Well versed with liquid, paste & powder packing equipment Pneumatic machinery Centralized control panels Cartoning and other packaging machines Electrical knowledge Practical equipment/machine knowledge (bartelt)

  • PLC Knowledge a plus.
  • AutoCAD knowledge a plus
  • Hands on approach to work (not an office engineer job)
  • Strong communication and relational skills

  • Microsoft Office-Strong excel and power point skills.
  • Create and deliver reports.
