Maintenance Technician (Night Shift)

Overview:

We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete emergency repairs Install and test new machines and equipment Read and use schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting Replace worn or damaged parts to prevent downtime Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (voltmeters, etc.) Troubleshoot electrical systems (110-460V) and PLCs (I/O level) Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout Communicate with team members to support smooth operations Qualifications 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic) Experience with electrical systems (110-460V) Basic PLC troubleshooting Ability to read schematics and diagrams Experience with hand tools and diagnostic equipment Welding/fabrication experience is a plus

Schedule Night Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (2-2-3 rotation) Training on day shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Perks & Benefits Shift differential for nights Weekly attendance bonus (paid monthly) 90-day retention bonus after direct hire Opportunity to work on advanced industrial equipment Work Environment Manufacturing facility supporting 18 production machines Hands-on role working with mechanical and electrical systems Safety-focused environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hickory, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
