It's real work—lifting, carrying, and secure construction sites outside in heat, cold, or rain—and that's exactly why it's rewarding. Our leaders install with the crew and lead from the front. What you'll do as a Fence Installer Build & remove fence: Set posts with a post-pounder (no concrete), place panels/stands/sandbags, attach chain link, hang gates, leave sites clean.
Be a teammate:
Work in a small crew; foremen coach and install while keeping pace and safety. Use tools & trucks: Compressors, hand tools, and non-CDL medium-duty flatbed trucks (driving boosts pay but isn't required). Talk with customers (lead track): Walk jobs, confirm footage/changes, solve simple site issues. What it takes to be a
Fence Installer Reliability:
6:00 AM starts, steady communication, safety first.
Physical readiness:
Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors all day.
Team mindset:
Positive attitude, respect for customers and coworkers. Driver-ready (optional): Valid license + clean record if you'll drive our trucks. How pay works for a Fence Installer (clear path up the range) $20/hr: Strong work ethic + outdoor/construction labor background. $22-$25/hr: Driver-ready (non-CDL), clean Motor Vehicle Record, experience in adjacent manual labor industries or limited fence experience; DOT med card helps. $25-$28+/hr: Proven, time tested temporary fence installer/lead —tool knowledge, quality + pace, customer interaction, able to lead and install today. We welcome adjacent experience (construction, concrete, landscaping, utilities, events) and actively seek fence/fence-adjacent backgrounds .
