Maintenance Technician

Schedule:

2-2-3 night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing facility by keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on large industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues (motors, controls, VFDs, circuits) Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams Use tools and test equipment (meters, hand/power tools, etc.) Replace parts such as belts, bearings, motors, chains, and gearboxes Complete equipment changeovers to minimize downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines Support general facility maintenance (basic plumbing, repairs, etc.)

Required Skills:

Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability Experience with 3-phase motors and up to 480V systems Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:

PLC and VFD troubleshooting experience Industrial maintenance experience on large machinery

Work Environment:

Clean, well-maintained manufacturing facility with large production equipment. Hands-on role requiring safe work practices around operating machinery. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $76960.00/yr.
