Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
The maintenance technician will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read and interpret diagrams and repair manuals. Must have a willingness to occasionally work flexible hours and overtime to accommodate machine downtime.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED/PREFERRED
Proven maintenance experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts. Must have some basic low voltage electrical experience Ability to check manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary. Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, etc. Experience with electronics/electrical parts is a plus. Experience performing routine maintenance. Strong organizational and follow up skills. Eye for detail. Professional presentation and attitude. Ability to maintain focus while working individually. Strong time management skills.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
Forklift experience Valid Driver license
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Handling basic repairs and maintenance. This includes repairs to machines throughout the plant and the facility. Performing preventative maintenance. Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them. Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Movement of equipment as needed within the plant that can be performed by maintenance.

% quality of all work performed Keep plant machinery running at all times so manufacturing can hit their goals in safety, quality, and delivery. Maintain good housekeeping, products are organized and stored for ease of handling. Maintain compliance with all required documentation. Maintain safe working practices. The company reserves the right to amend the duties of this position from time to time. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, reach, climb, grasp, or other for up to 10 hours per day.
Shift / hours:
First - M-Th 6:00 am - 4:30pm Must be willing to occasionally work flexible hours and overtime to accommodate machine downtime.

Full-time Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
