Job Description

Our client, located in New Bern, NC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a proactive, safety-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Friday What's the Job?
Perform general maintenance and repair of machinery, buildings, and equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, filter changes). Inspect and repair pumps, motors, valves, and fans. Assist with electrical installations and equipment troubleshooting. Utilize hands and power tools to complete maintenance tasks. What's Needed? High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of maintenance or related experience. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret diagrams and sketches. Strong understanding of safety practices and hazard prevention. What's in it for me? Opportunity to work in a hands-on, skilled trade role.
