Full Time Multi Craft Maintenance Technician
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(other duties as assigned):
Maintain and perform repairs throughout plant
Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions and uptime across all related crafts
Utilize PM software and work order queue to perform schedule maintenance repairs
Participates in the planning, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power-distribution systems, instrumentation, production equipment, facilities and related electronic controls and devices
Maintain all plant facility equipment, production equipment, and utilities
Lead product and tooling changeovers, start up and shut-down procedures
Effectively troubleshoot issues and efficiently make repairs
Interpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specifications
Cut, form, thread, fit and install piping for air, water, steam, oil nitrogen, gas, and other lines
Prepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with multiple technologies
Use gas torches or other equipment to cut structural stock for fabrication
Ensure all equipment and tools are stored and maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime
Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable
Maintain all robotics
Operate lift trucks and cranes properly and advise of any defective parts or equipment
Maintain constant communication with maintenance team and management
Provide input and ensure completion of plant projects and goals, as set forth by Management
Support daily production goals, as they apply to maintenance/repair needs
Maintain compliance o Abide by safe work standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), NFPA 70E (Arc flash) and all company safety practices and OSHA regulations o Maintain clear maintenance related records o Support plant safety initiative, maintain safety protocols throughout production area o Participate in departmental meetings and daily plant walks, as needed o Contribute to ongoing plant improvements, as needed o Abide by all corporate and plant company policies and initiatives o Maintain clean work areas, practice good housekeeping and support plant-wide 5S initiative o Adhere to the company attendance policy •

Required qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have:
A minimum of 5 years total experience in a maintenance position in industry
Knowledgeable with the ability to perform maintenance and troubleshoot in the following areas, blueprint reading, welding and cutting structural fabrications using tig, mig and arc, electrical and basic electronic components, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics and basic mechanical physics of machines.
A strong knowledge of overall production process
Excellent work safety etiquette
Working knowledge of maintenance principles and methods
Strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and team skills
Basic computer skills
Familiar with OSHA/Safety Standards Preferred qualifications: Optimal candidate will have:
Advanced training in maintenance-related field
Injection molding experience
Experience with rigging and crane operation
More than 10 years total experience in a maintenance position in industry
