Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:00

Long-Term OpportunityJob OverviewWe are seeking a Skins Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a long-term opportunity for candidates who are looking to build stability and grow with the company. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation or maintenance experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

What is a
Skins Operator:
The Skins Operator is responsible for operating equipment used in the production of fiberglass/door skins, inspecting materials for quality, and ensuring products meet production specifications. ResponsibilitiesFollow standard work instructions to maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Operate slitter tables, presses, and limited robotic functions.

Inspect raw materials and fiberglass skins for quality defects.

Follow proper procedures when identifying and escalating scrap material.

Maintain hour-by-hour production updates for the assigned area.

Read and interpret production schedules and work orders.

Continuously monitor operations to ensure quality production.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Group Manager. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.

Previous machine operation or maintenance experience preferred.

Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 49 lbs. regularly.

Work EnvironmentThe position is performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical equipment, vibrations, and loud noises. All required safety protocols and OSHA guidelines must be followed.

Physical RequirementsAbility to frequently stand and walk throughout the shift.

Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift up to 49 lbs.

Must have the visual ability to perform inspections, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
