As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting both facility maintenance and material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance within our warehouse operations. This position will split responsibilities between maintaining building infrastructure and troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, turrets, aerial lifts, and related warehouse equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility-related issues and implement effective repair solutions. Conduct preventive maintenance on both warehouse equipment and building systems to minimize downtime and improve reliability. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, building infrastructure, and general facility equipment. Assist with electrical troubleshooting, minor repairs, HVAC support, mechanical repairs, carpentry, painting, and general facility upkeep. Support grounds maintenance and exterior facility upkeep as needed. Cross-train in additional maintenance disciplines, including refrigeration systems and other industrial maintenance functions, to support career growth and operational flexibility.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous experience in building maintenance, forklift maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or industrial maintenance preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems.
Building Maintenance:
Experience supporting lighting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs is a plus.
Refrigeration:
Refrigeration and/or ammonia experience is a plus.
Certifications:
OSHA, forklift certification, HVAC certification, or related technical training is a plus.
Problem-Solving:
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and prioritize repairs.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold storage environments, perform work at heights, and safely operate tools and equipment. Why Lineage?
