Maintenance Mechanic- Job Description
- The Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and packaging equipment.
- Responsibilities
- + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and programming components, including PLC, servo drives, and related components used in manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Essential Skills
- + Electrical troubleshooting + PLC troubleshooting + Mechanical troubleshooting + Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics + Experience in industrial maintenance + Understanding of VFDs + Experience in a GMP environment + Ability to work in a cleanroom setting
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + High school education with the ability to read, write, and perform mathematics for technical work.

- Work Environment
- The role follows a 12-hour 2,2,3 schedule, providing some flexibility to maintain a consistent routine. Work is performed in a manufacturing or plant maintenance setting, with frequent interaction with maintenance personnel and other departments. A cleanroom manufacturing environment is maintained.
- Job Type & Location
- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilson, NC.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
